There are two options, by boat, The Block Island Ferry, or by plane, New England Airlines. The ferries run from Point Judith in Narragansett RI to Block Island. The slow ferry, takes about 1 hour and allows vehicles. You will need to call them to make a ferry reservation if you'd like to bring your car back and forth.
